Massage Therapist
Job Title: Massage Therapist

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
Summary
A massage therapist is responsible for providing massage therapy to clients. They use their knowledge and skills to relieve pain, tension, and stress. Communicate with clients to understand their needs, recommend appropriate massage techniques, and maintain accurate client treatment records.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Recommend appropriate massage techniques based on client needs
- Guide clients on stretching and relaxation techniques
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and follow hygiene and safety protocols to prevent the spread of disease.
- Coordinate with the receptionist to ensure time and services for clients
- Explain services and products to clients, and provide recommendations as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information
- Opening and closing the store according to the checklist provided
- Managing the laundry
Requirements
- You must obtain a valid CAMTC certification, San Francisco massage license, or a massage therapy license or certification as mandated by the state law (required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with clients of all ages and physical conditions
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- The massage therapist must perform and provide services according to the massage service protocols of Thy Spa.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
Physical Demands
- This job requires physical movement for extended periods, as well as bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Pay and Benefits
- Pay $40 – $45 per hour service before tips and commission. Pay will be commensurate with experience and performance.

Receptionist

Summary
We seek a friendly and organized receptionist to join Thy Spa San Francisco. As our clients’ first point of contact, the receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients have a positive experience from the moment they walk through the door.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and assist with inquiries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and follow hygiene and safety protocols to prevent the spread of disease.
- Coordinate with therapists to ensure time and services for clients
- Explain services and products to clients, and provide recommendations as needed
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Assist with marketing efforts, including Yelp, Google, and email
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
- Opening and closing the store according to the checklist provided
- Managing the laundry
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a spa or hospitality setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Proficient in computer skills
- Knowledge of spa treatments, products, and services is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
